A small selection of projects I have worked on or I am currently working on
Tribfest is a fantastic festival in England which celebrates the talents of tribute bands. I helped Darren at Readio Creative create this fantastic looking site.
This site for a local lingerie company in Leeds was built in HTML5 from the ground up. I created a neat little image gallery on the brands page and implemented a simple contact form for clients to be able to get in touch and take part in competitions.
I created this site while working at The Black Hole.
This is the second site I’ve done for the Xing chaps. I was overjoyed to get another chance to work not only for a great client but, to be able to assist in spreading the word about what is a mind bogglingly inspirational idea. Their concept is to encourage young entrepreneurs to set up their own smoothie businesses in schools; which in turn promotes healthy diets for the rabble of burger chomping swine we call “the youth of today”
Successfull Leeds DJ’s Audiojack have been doing monthly mixes for some time now and they thought it would be a good idea to create a mix archive that people can listing to mixes and download. Only a wee job but I think it’s slick : )
My recently redesigned this site for my good friends at Xing to incorporate their new branding.
The site was built in standards compliant (X)HTML & CSS and I used ExpressionEngine to power the CMS so they can alter content when they need to.
Also recently I produced some email newsletter templates so they can keep in touch with their customers. So far it has been a great success!
Press Association Training the leading provider of journalism and media training in the UK. We were absolutely delighted when they approached us while I was at Definition to design and build a promotional website to boost applications for their prestigious Foundation Course for young journalists.
We first built a basic working website prototype, allowing the client to see clearly how the website would work. We then proceeded with visual design – our first attempts were, frankly, a little too funky/edgy, so we regrouped to create a design that looked fresh, young and modern, whilst maintaining a broader appeal and reflecting the quality of the course itself.
Ciao bistro is enjoying great success as a new restaurant, they had an existing website that was quite tricky to extract basic information from. Since the owner Darren is a great friend of mine, I insisted he let me quickly whip up a site with basic information on in exchange for a slap up feed. The rest is history (I had Beef Stroganoff in case you were wondering).
i-Machines is an Apple certified reseller based in Bahrain. Myself and the Definition team had been doing some coding work for them on some existing sites they have and they were so impressed they asked us to do the website for their flagship store.
HPSS have 20 years experience of PA systems hire, sound reinforcment, sound systems, stage hire, lighting hire and design.
HPSS have done a lot of work with search engine optimisation so their content was already really good so they wanted me to do a re-skin. After producing a design they were delighted with I coded the HTML templates and they were away!
I worked on this project whilst working at Definition Design.
Darren is the SEO specialist that we worked in conjunction with while I was at Definition. He needed a design doing for his new site so we were more than happy to oblige.
